Most of the prep work nowdays is just pressure washing (which often destroys wood) and light scraping. So, why do we sand the houses before painting? Because we care about the quality that lasts. We enjoy looking at the house as an artist at the painting when it is done. We put quite a bit of love in the process.

This house was primed twice. Once by hand to seal a wood sap on every shingle with oil-based paint and later with a latex primer to get it ready for a final coat.
